The attorney behind the firm

Sarah Gold founded the firm in 2011. She was admitted to practice in New York in 2007, and she earned her law degree at Albany Law School. She grew up in Guilderland, New York, and studied at Schenectady County Community College and the University of Albany before law school.

Her route into the profession ran through its support side first. She worked as a paralegal and a legal secretary, so she saw how a practice runs day to day before she sat the bar. As an associate at a local firm, she negotiated and drafted contracts in the hedge fund industry, a corner of finance where the wording of an agreement carries real weight.
