That range means a business owner and a family planning an estate can use the same office. The estate and elder law work pairs with real estate, since property often features in both. As a reviewer, I read this breadth as a firm built to hold a client through several stages of life and business.
Business and estate work
Formation and M&A work usually starts well before any dispute. It covers choosing an entity type, drafting the operating or partnership agreement, and setting the governance rules that decide who votes on what. When a company changes hands, counsel reviews the target, drafts the purchase terms, and handles the closing. The firm names all of these steps among its corporate services.
Estate and elder law follows a different clock. Wills and trusts get drafted while a client is planning ahead, and probate or administration comes later, often through the Surrogate's Court in the county where the person lived.
