Hushka joined Vogel Law Firm in 2014 after earning bachelor of science degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from North Dakota State University and graduating from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the school's Yearbook on Arbitration and Mediation and vice-president of the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society. Before joining Vogel, he served as a full-time Judge Advocate to the Colorado Army National Guard, gaining experience in administrative, criminal, contract and fiscal, employment, military personnel, international, and operational law, and he completed a Presidential Management Fellowship with the Department of the Interior representing and advising management in labor and employment disputes. He continues to serve as a Judge Advocate in the North Dakota Army National Guard.
